An experience close to nature

We are open year-round – self service at the start of the season and full service with food from February. Best conditions are late in the season with stable weather and longer days. In the months of February, March and April the trails to the cabins Tuva, Åkerstølen, Prestholt and Krækkja are all marked.

Practical information

Haugastøl is situated 1000m above sea level, and most trails are at even higher elevation. The crosscountry tracks in Haugastøl are groomed by snowmobiles, so we recommend touring skis with a steel edge for most days.

If you want to go skating Ustaoset and Geilo is only a short drive away.
